It illustrates the absurdity of regulating firearms based on their looks and the fallacy of demonizing a system that has been available and lawfully used by millions of citizens for over 100 years, It also explains and demonstrates the difference between a fully automatic, which is not part of any new legislation but is often purposely confused with the semiautomatic firearms that simply look like them but have nothing else in common. I hope this helps people to understand what is actually being considered for further restriction and why they are no more dangerous than any other hunting rifle.
